Emery Pace Archer (E.P.)

EP brings twenty-five years of professional experience as a performing musician, composer, songwriter, and master educator. EP has performed for audiences of over 7,000 and shared the stage with international artists, including Ursula Oppens, Colin Carr, Joe Denizon, Mark Wood, Timothy Russel, and R. Carlos Nakai.  Currently a master teacher at Alpine Music School in Evergreen, CO, EP also teaches worldwide, both online and in person, including songwriting and performance workshops for the Lamont School of Music at DU, as well as ACC and FRCC and has taught and performed as a Teaching Artist with the Colorado Symphony’s Young Composer program.

EP brings a love and passion for creative music, an openness to work with any musical goal or desire, and dedicated experience at all levels and ages, ranging from pre-K Montessori environments to university students and beyond. Their cultivation of an adult learning model helps hobbyists and gigging musicians alike to find expression through music and meet challenges effectively, utilizing a musical toolbox and fostering a more authentic connection to themselves and the music they create and engage with.

In musical theater, in addition to serving as a conductor and professional pit musician on keyboard, violin, and guitar, EP has also worked as a director and music supervisor for educational and regional companies. EP has an MM in music performance and pedagogy, as well as a BA in classical music. You can find EP’s music on Soundcloud, Spotify, and most recently, on KUVO & CPR. EP is an advocate for all historically marginalized and diverse communities, especially those in the arts. EP loves to open up the out-of-the-box lens to all, creating meaningful connections and authentic experiences on stage and in the learning studio.
