Grace Hovem

Grace is our friendly face at the front desk, and self-proclaimed director of “fun-raising” at Alpine Music School. She joined our community in 2025 as an adult voice student and has been working for us since 2026.

Grace spent her childhood moving all around the world, living on five different continents before the age of 18 and even attending middle school in Azerbaijan (!).  For this reason, she bristles at the question, “Where are you from?” Instead, she can tell you that she is half-American and half-Norwegian.  Before moving to Evergreen in 2025, she spent five years in Oslo, Norway where she received her master's in Human Geography and hosted monthly parties for dogs.

In her spare time Grace enjoys living on her grandpa’s ranch (with 2 cats, 2 dogs, & 2 horses), attending trivia, and coming up with bad puns. She also is trying her best to learn 4 instruments at the same time--playing clawhammer banjo & ukulele, with aspirations to learn piano and guitar.
