Give Your Young Musician a Strong Start in Orchestra 🎻

Joining orchestra is exciting—but learning a string instrument in a large school ensemble can be a lot to take on.

Orchestra Jumpstart gives beginning violin, viola, cello, and bass students the extra support they need to build strong fundamentals, feel confident with their instrument, and keep up in their school orchestra.

Whether your child is starting orchestra in 4th grade, or simply getting a later start, this program is designed to help them build the foundation they may have missed.

Enrollment is OPEN NOW for our 7 week session - weekly classes begin on Thursday, October 8 from 4:30 - 5:30.

A Little Extra Support Makes a Big Difference

In Orchestra Jumpstart, students work on the skills that make everything else easier: proper instrument and bow setup, reading music, rhythm, tone production, tuning, and healthy playing technique.

We reinforce what students are learning at school while giving them more individualized attention and time to ask questions, work through challenges, and develop good habits from the beginning.

The goal isn’t to race ahead—it’s to help students walk into orchestra feeling prepared, capable, and confident.

Perfect for Students Who...

• Are in their first year of violin, viola, cello, or bass

• Recently joined their school orchestra

• Started orchestra later than many of their classmates

• Feel like their school class moves a little too quickly

• Want extra help developing solid technique and music-reading skills

• Would benefit from a smaller, supportive learning environment

Start Strong. Play With Confidence.

A strong beginning can shape the way a student feels about music for years to come. Orchestra Jumpstart helps young musicians move past the “I don’t know what I’m doing” stage and toward the confidence of knowing they belong in the ensemble.

Build the foundation. Find your confidence. Enjoy orchestra.
